I was so delighted with the Color Purple stage play in Chicago that I wanted to see it on Broadway with Fantasia. I love Fantasia and voted for her every week when she was on American Idol. I bought her CD the first day it was released and I have it on my mp3 player for treadmill motivation
Anyway, off to New York with Harrison to see Fantasia and horror of horrors, she was sick. You could get your money back for the show but not my airfare or hotel money. It was still a phenomenal performance but I still am going to try to get to NY once again. I really want to see Fantasia in that role.
