Well, it must be time for the bbq. It started on Friday. Here's Harry and Lyndon starting to chop onion and peppers for the spaghetti. This year, Lyndon was Harry's Assistant Chef. There was a time when Harry was the Assistant Chef. Harry's spaghetti is almost as anxiously anticipated as the ribs.

Harry explaining his love of cooking to his Auntie:
I don't know if Anton was getting a headstart on the food or if he was really helping....
MMMMM. Spaghetti, fried turkey, chicken wings, a delicious salad and homemade garlic bread. Who could ask for better?
Cousins who came from Indiana waiting patiently to enjoy their meal.
Our friend came into town in a Bentley. Many of us took the opportunity to pose in front of it. Me too!
Saturday arrives and the food is ready. The heat and humidity begin to let up in the afternoon and it looks like it is going to be a great day for a bbq. Here we are getting ready to bless the food. We have so much to be thankful for and before folks eat is a good time for prayer.
We set up the food outside, but eating occurs all over the house.
The kids get to go in the bouncy house and this year, Donovan got his first jumpy-jumpy with his mom and brothers.
One of my favorite things is to get people to pose in the photo booth. We took it out of the closet this year because the weather was extremely hot and humid. We set it up in the open and it worked great. Here's my college roomie and I laughing as usual. We had crowns available since the royal wedding was the big news this year.
Edith and I, taking a minute to smile:Donovan was as busy as ever and we finally got one shot of him with his mom:
Bob and Harriet full and waiting for the craft project:
Arthur admiring his wife:
Hey, Here's Char and Dave. We see this same shot every year.
Here is a picture of Marcia's craft. I am always impressed when folks make the craft project using their own creativity. This year's was simple and loads of fun.
Even though this last picture was taken on Friday night, it really represents how much joy we get from having the bbq every year.
