I always try to visit my Florida friends in January or February. It gives me a chance to catch up with them as well as escape the winter doldrums. I was scheduled to go home last weekend, but the weather was SO MISERABLE in Illinois. My friends agreed to be my hosts for one more week and I jumped on it! Up until yesterday, the weather was in the low 80's. Then came the rain and thunderstorms. But the sun is out again today. If the bugs quit biting me, I'll go out again today and take more photos. Here's a pic of some bug bites on my hand, I have many on my legs and arms too. They are called noseeum's because you dont see them but you feel them biting you and the irritation lasts for days.
